Divine & Traditional Mehendi Designs
I bring heritage to life through intricate portraits of deities, sacred symbols, and classic architectural motifs. Every line is hand-drawn to honour tradition and bring a sense of divine grace to your hands.
I have a deep love for traditional Indian artistry, and this full-arm bridal mehendi is a perfect example. It features a detailed portrait of Lord Shiv and Parvati, complete with Nandi, intricate architectural jharokhas, and delicate lotus motifs on the fingers.
This bridal mehendi is rich with divine symbolism. The palms feature the sacred Om and Swastik symbols, while the arms are adorned with beautiful portraits of deities, blending spirituality with intricate bridal art.
Mehendi is for everyone in the family. This elegant design was created for the groom's mother, featuring a stunning portrait of Radha and Krishna, graceful swans, and a depiction of Nandi the bull, making it a piece of devotional art.
About Divine & Traditional Designs
For these traditional designs, I use a 0.38mm fine-tip cone to capture the delicate features of Radha-Krishna or Shiv-Parvati portraits. To ensure those intricate lines develop into a deep, rich maroon stain, I always finish the session with my signature clove steam treatment (dhuni), which is standard for all my heavy bridal work.
Traditional mehendi is an art of patience and precision. When I draw a jharokha or a pair of swans, I am not just filling space; I am constructing a narrative that frames your main portrait. Whether it is a Shiv-Parvati vivah or a serene Radha-Krishna scene, the placement matters. I balance these heavy, high-density elements with architectural patterns that flow naturally with the shape of your hand.
I have spent over two decades perfecting this balance. It is not just about the henna paste; it is about the consultation process where we decide which symbols—Om, Swastik, or specific floral motifs—resonate with your family’s traditions. My senior team and I work to ensure that even with heavy elbow-length coverage, the design remains cohesive. After the application is done, we do not just leave you to wait. We use natural essential oil-infused paste and the clove steam process to guarantee that the final result is the deep, dark colour you expect from traditional bridal henna.
